BA Roofing Cullman Reviews

One homeowner’s documented experience with a roofing insurance check dispute.

Questions to Ask Before Hiring BA Roofing or Any Cullman Roofing Contractor

Before hiring BA Roofing Cullman or any roofing contractor, homeowners should ask detailed questions about payment terms, insurance proceeds, and written agreements.

My own dispute involves a check that I understood would be held until my insurance company paid out. Based on my experience, payment timing should never be vague.

Here are questions I believe every homeowner should ask before moving forward with a roofing contractor:

1. Will you deposit my check immediately?

Do not assume a check will be held just because there is an insurance claim involved. Ask directly.

2. If you say the check will be held, will you put that in writing?

A verbal promise may be hard to prove later. Written confirmation matters.

3. What does the contract say about payment timing?

Read the contract carefully. If the contract says one thing and the salesperson says another, ask for the contract to be corrected before signing.

4. What happens if insurance has not paid yet?

The contractor should explain whether payment is due before or after insurance funds are received.

5. Is this a deposit, partial payment, deductible payment, or full payment?

Know exactly what the check represents.

6. Can I get copies of every document I sign?

You should always receive copies immediately.

7. Who is responsible for communicating with the insurance company?

Make sure you understand whether the contractor is only helping with the estimate or actually handling claim-related communication.

8. What is your cancellation policy?

Ask whether you can cancel, how long you have, and whether any payment is refundable.

9. Are you licensed and insured?

Ask for proof, not just verbal confirmation.

10. What happens if there is a disagreement?

A reputable company should have a clear process for resolving disputes.

My opinion, based on my experience, is that homeowners should slow down and get every important promise in writing. This is especially true when dealing with roofing insurance claims in Cullman or anywhere else.
